Commission PricinG
This pricing reflects the time, care, and materials involved in creating original artwork using high quality, archival materials.
While the table below lists the media I most commonly work in, I’m happy to discuss commissions in other materials — if you see a piece in my gallery that grabs your interest, feel free to let me know that you like that style.
If you do have a different medium or size in mind, you’re welcome to note it in the intake form and I’d be happy to consult on pricing and lead time.

What determines the price?*
Each commissioned piece is unique. While size and medium provide a general framework, final pricing can vary based on factors such as the number of subjects, level of detail, reference quality and the timeframe that's been requested.
Listing a starting price allows for flexibility while still offering transparency. Before any work begins, I provide a clear quote based on the details of your request, so there are no surprises along the way.
Do you work in sizes other than those listed?
Yes. The sizes listed reflect the most common formats I work in, but I’m open to both smaller and larger pieces depending on the medium and subject.
If you have a specific size in mind, mention it in the intake form and I can let you know what’s possible and how it would be priced.
Is there flexibility depending on budget?
I understand budgets vary. I’m happy to talk through options and help find an approach that feels comfortable and realistic.
In many cases, this means choosing a smaller size, a simpler composition, or opting for a digital piece with a smaller print. These options allow me to keep the same level of care while adjusting the scope of the work.
How long does a commission usually take?
Timelines vary depending on size, medium, and current bookings. As a general guideline:
• Digital commissions: ca 1–3 weeks
• Traditional commissions: ca 4–8 weeks
Larger or more complex pieces may take longer. For oil work in particular, drying and finishing time can affect delivery. If you have a specific date in mind, include it in the intake form and I’ll let you know what’s realistic.
